Job Description

You will be responsible for setting-up all the processes related to products supply chain and logistics for the launch of our operations in Ho Chi Minh City. Once our business is running, you will manage operations on a day-to-day basis, and you will be a key contributor to optimize our processes. You will work in close collaboration with our Product & Supply Chain Leader.

Coordinate inbound cargos with import partners
  • Track all the cargos with transport teams based in China and in France and with forwarders’ teams
  • Follow-up custom clearance process and provide all documentation necessary to complete processes
  • Monitor forwarder’s KPIs to maintain performance and efficient leadtime
Set-up the logistics & warehousing solution for LEROY MERLIN Vietnam
  • Define best warehousing given the volume and time constraints
  • Define processes for goods sorting, labelling and storing
  • Recruit order pickers responsible for preparing orders for customer deliveries
  • Define KPIs and lead-time
  • Manage warehouse operations : set-up, maintenance, packing materials and security
Optimize cost and efficiency on inbound and outbound traffic
  • Optimize cost and lead-time of Logistics partners thanks to a close follow-up of KPIs
  • Anticipate new solutions and alternatives as volume of cargos and deliveries increase
  • Define relevant logistics data to perform operations smoothly

Job Requirements

Experience and hard skills
  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business, with at least 7 years of experience
  • Experience in setting-up a complete supply chain & logistics process from scratch.
  • Excellent knowledge of Supply Chain concepts & methods
  • Experience in custom-clearance and forwarding environment
  • Experience in logistics & warehousing is a must
  • Experience in e-commerce company & e-commerce logistics
  • Experience in freight, import and custom clearance
Soft skills
