Lead, review, supervise and coach kaizen projects in production, quality, planning and inventory control, purchasing.
In charge of 6S training, implementation, enforcement, standardization and follow up. Work with departments daily to raise 6S consciousness, performs 6S audits and maintain a highly organized, clean and efficient work environment.
Identify and prioritize areas for improvements using lean, kaizen and 6S tools. Develop and prepare transformation plans, liaise with Ashley US companies on continuous improvement initiatives.
Collect data, analyze problems, make recommendations and deliver desired results. Establish SOPs and flow charts for procedural improvements. Work hands-on to implement suggestions that improve or change processes in support of the company’s objectives.
Facilitate Operations Manager and HR department to raise the skills sets of employees. Support Production and Industrial Engineering departments to optimize thru-put and sustain improvement activities.
Develop visual controls, communicate goals and best practice. Maintain lean metrics.
Complete other assignments and special projects as requested by the operations manager and general manager.
Required graduate of a good university with lean manufacturing learning. Engineering discipline.
More than 5 years experience at supervisor/manager level in relevant role in large labor intensive manufacturing company
