Job Description

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible for overall development and execution of all Principal brand plans leading to the achievement of successive annual sales and profitably goals. Building a highly effective marketing team and creating a stimulating leaning and team working environment. Ensuring an optimum level of marketing process and controls to improve business efficiencies and visibility of performance

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Achieve budgeted sales numbers and net margins as per the annual agreed plan
  • Develop robust overall short and medium terms marketing plans by Brand and Category, including new Brand introductions and ATL activity when required
  • Manage A&P budgets according to annual agreed plan and monitor marketing spending against budget
  • Develop understanding for self and company of overall market dynamics in the key area we participate in
  • Be a successful recruiter and retainer of people to build a team to manage a fast growth strategy
  • Develop company and Brand image as a credible player in the market through participation in credible industry and networking events
  • Oversee and manage relationship development with Principals and key customers
  • Ownership of demand forecast for all Brands in S&OP process
  • Provide regular monthly reporting and analysis of performance to CEO
  • Work closely with Sales & Operation Manager, Area Managers, Store Managers to develop channel by channel basis marketing activities, covering products, packages, pricing and promotions in line with brand companies & sales strategies
  • Prepare and evaluate channel specific programs and build category focus.
  • Coordinates and directs outside market research projects and prepares reports, analysis and commentary for management on statistical and other data received concerning markets, pricing, etc.
  • Liaise with local advertising agencies and suppliers to develop above and below line materials in support of in-country marketing plans.
  • Develop and build digital member program to foster the loyalty of the brand. Formulate the growth strategy, develop activation programs and maximize collaboration with suppliers. Utilize digital member data to understand customers. Set up sound segmentation strategy and communication platform with targeted marketing to optimize margin.
  • Identify future market dynamics for development of new store concept and business planning of Dairy Farm Vietnam.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Skills & Attributes)
  • University Degree or equivalent. Marketing / Business Management qualification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in marketing management, senior marketing roles in retail, FMCGs for the business of cosmetics.
  • Demonstrate excellent business relationship building and communication skills with all external stakeholders
  • Good strategy planning, P&L management and analytical skills
  • Ability to build positive internal and external working relationships
  • Proactive Team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Able to project manage
  • Broad understanding of business management needs in addition to purely marketing
  • Flexible & customer focus
  • Cross function collaboration and team work
  • Good experience in brand building
  • Experience of working relationships with external agencies
